It has been our experience that Cuphea ramosissima 'PAS1303307' (Pink Shimmer) performs well in our area. We have found it does well in part sun situations, as it does not seem to do well with our heat, causing it so be removed around the end of August or beginning of September. We have found some of its best uses as a filler plant as well as in containers. While it does self seed, it does so in a non-aggressive way and it helps to keep the plant appearing full.
